The Decatur Running Club understands
that groups in the community want to provide
local races to encourage support for a
worthy cause or celebration of an event.
The DRC can offer volunteers from our
membership to set-up a finish line and
time your race. Let us handle the runners
coming through the chute so you can worry
about taking care of your runners after
the race. We time the race and hand over
the times to you for results computation.
The fee schedule to the right indicates
what equipment and services the DRC can
offer. We charge for use of our equipment
so that we can maintain our existing timing
equipment and upgrade it over time.

Fee Schedule |
- Minimum fee for any one piece of
equipment is $50. The DRC has the
following pieces of equipment available:
- Big Race Clock
- Handheld Timers
- Chute and Popsicle Sticks
- Minimum of 2 DRC Volunteers
- Maximum Fee is $125 for in-town
races which would include all 4 items
listed above.
- Maximum Fee is $150 for out of
town races and would include all
4 items plus a $25 stipend to the
volunteers for travel costs
- If a race director uses more than
1 of the items listed above, an additional
charge of $25 per piece of equipment
will be assessed up to the maximum
limits.
