Club Information
From the mid-1970s, the Decatur Running Club has existed as a program designed to promote health and fitness in the Decatur community, as well as serve the needs of its members through social and competitive venues.
Based in Decatur, Illinois, and comprised of members from Decatur and the central Illinois region, the Decatur Running Club is welcome to all who are interested in keeping connected to the running community.

What are the benefits of Joining the Decatur Running Club?
The Decatur Running Club is a community organization with the mission of promoting fitness and running in the Decatur area. We sponsor several organized races during the year, and work with the Park District in putting on several others. We host social runs and training runs throughout the year. Our web site and quarterly newsletter keep members informed of upcoming races, race results, and events of interest to runners.
Sponsored Races
Every year DRC organizes premier sponsored races.
There are four sponsored race events with a number of difficulty levels. This allows participation no matter your age or fitness levels.
